There are many things that may cause head, neck and shoulder pain. One of the main things are the increasing use of TV’s, computers, and smartphones/tablets. Using these devices leads people to take on a more slumped posture which causes more tension and stress on the neck and shoulders, increasing chances of pain, headaches/migraines. The good news is that it is possible to improve a slumped head and shoulder posture with neck exercises along the regular acupuncture treatments.
There have been many studies specifically in 2018 that patients with slumped head posture, pain and headaches who performed neck stabilizing exercises for 20-30 min a few times per week for about one month along with acupuncture treatments once per week, found they had less stiffness, pain, and less headaches and migraines by 70%.
Here at Balance Within we give our patients the most effective neck exercises along with specialized acupuncture treatments to help you get rid of your pain, stiffness and migraines as quick and effectively as possible.
