Restless leg Syndrome (RLS) is becoming more common in today’s era. Symptoms include an uncomfortable sensations in the legs with a strong urge to move their legs to relieve the sensations. RLS can cause an odd “itchy,” or “pins and needles,” feeling in the legs. The sensations are usually worse at rest, especially when lying or sitting.
The severity spectrum of RLS range from very mild to extremely intense. The symptoms of RLS are generally worse in the latter parts of the day. For some people, symptoms can cause extreme sleep disturbances disruption that can decrease their quality of life. In rare cases RLS can begin to affect a persons gate and generally give the person a sense of pain in one or both legs.
Research has shown that RLS has affected about 10% of the U.S population. It generally is found more in females but has been seen in both sexes in any age range. The most common symptoms are found in the middle aged or older. There are many methods of treatment, but the first thing to do is to locate a pain management clinic and see if they can treat RLS.

Treatments For RLS:
