What Chiropractors Treat:

A chiropractic professional is one who uses their hands or massage tools to manipulate the joints in your body and can treat many conditions that may affect the nervous system or musculoskeletal system. They can treat any aches, pain, creaks, and strains that may occur in your head, jaws, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, pelvis, knees, and ankles. Chiropractors make sure that your joints are moving properly, and that the surrounding muscles are functioning just as well.

A chiropractic adjustment is intended to gently realign joints to decrease pain and increase range of motion. It is an effective treatment option for both adults and children. Common reasons people get a chiropractic adjustment include for back or neck pain, muscle pain, and headaches. Some people see a chiropractor as an alternative form of treatment that does not involve taking prescription medicine.

Visiting a chiropractor and getting an adjustment can help with reducing pain, and correcting your body’s alignment and physical functionality. Getting adjusted by a chiropractor can also help with the following:

  • Minimizing headaches, migraines, and other neck-related issues
  • Improving posture
  • Reducing pain
  • Improving range of motion of spine and other joints
  • Reducing symptoms of chronic conditions
  • Treating minor neck or spine injuries

  • Treatments are painless, relaxing, and leaving you feeling pain free, loose and limber.
  • Single chiropractic treatment lasts about 20-40 minutes. The length of the treatment depends on the condition being treated, as well as the individuals response to treatment.
  • The number of treatments needed depends on the the condition treated, but generally range from 2-8 treatments to see results
Soft Tissue Therapy

Our chiropractors use an array of soft tissue techniques to loosen muscles and break up scar tissue that have developed after injuries.

These methods include but are not limited to: The Graston technique, scraping, trigger point therapy, ultra sound, and many more.

Electro-Stimulation Therapy
  •  Electro pads are placed over areas of pain to help decrease spasmodic muscles and decrease any local inflammation.
  • Electro- stimulation therapy or electro acupuncture can drastically speed up the healing process and decreasing any pain you may be experiencing.
  • Treatments with electro therapy are generally very pleasant and soothing. Pain relief from this method tends to be fairly quick when used correctly.

Pressure Release

What You Can Expect:

If it is your first visit, your chiropractor will want to ask questions and discuss your medical history, as well as perform a physical exam.

During a chiropractic adjustment, your chiropractor will offer treatment that is unique to meet your needs.

You will lie facing down on a chiropractic table that allows certain areas of your body to be leveled slightly higher than the rest, which then helps your chiropractor apply pressure to a specific area. The chiropractor will use their hands or small massaging tools to apply a quick and controlled amount of pressure to a joint, or they will gently stretch your joints beyond their normal range of motion.

You may hear a cracking or popping noise, which is from gasses leaving your joints. This may sound painful, but it does not feel painful.

After getting an adjustment, many people feel relief from symptoms almost immediately. Others might feel mildly sore for up to 24 hours after. Some people might get mild headaches. These side effects are all temporary.
